Behavioral Health
San Vicente provides behavioral health services at our clinics located at 8061 Alameda, 10780 Pebble Hills suite G1, and at our Healthcare for the Homeless clinic located at 1208 Myrtle Avenue. We receive generous funding support through the United Way of El Paso County, the Health Services and Resources Administration and the Department of Housing and Urban Development.
Services are provided by a Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, Licensed Professional Counselor, and Master's level licensed Social Workers who provide diagnosis, consulting, and psychotherapy.
Services include direct diagnosis, treatment, referral, and follow up to patients age 12 and over, as well as families. Our mental health providers consult regularly with the patient's Primary Care Provider to coordinate care. The approach selected is the one that best matches the needs of the individual client.
The immediate family of patients is actively involved in treatment planning and therapy; this is always the case when the patient is a child. Our collaborative approach to treatment empowers patients, parents, and their families by educating them about what questions to ask of a physician or psychotherapist.
