Essential Functions:
Data Collection & Management
- Collect, clean, and validate data from multiple sources such as databases, spreadsheets, and information systems.
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness of data.
- Maintain data documentation and data dictionaries.
Data Analysis
- Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities.
- Conduct statistical analysis to support operational or strategic decisions.
- Perform ad-hoc data analysis requests from leadership or departments.
Reporting & Visualization
- Develop reports, dashboards, and data visualizations using tools such as:
- Excel
- Power BI
- Tableau
- SQL reporting tools
- Present findings in clear and understandable formats for stakeholders.
Performance Monitoring
- Track key performance indicators for grant funded programs and organizational metrics.
- Support quality improvement initiatives by analyzing outcome and process data.
- Monitor program performance and recommend improvements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in:
- Data Analytics
- Statistics
- Computer Science
- Information Systems
- Public Health or related field
OR equivalent experience in data analysis.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau).
- Experience with SQL or database management.
- Experience working with large datasets.
- Experience in healthcare, research, or public health data (preferred for healthcare organizations).
Technical Skills
- Microsoft Excel (advanced)
- SQL
- Data visualization software (Power BI, Tableau)
- Statistical analysis tools (R, Python, or SPSS)
