Laboratory Technician
Under the direct supervision of the Laboratory Supervisor, develops new laboratory procedures and incorporates revision made necessary for procedural change.
Minimum Qualifications: Ability to communicate in the English and Spanish language. Must demonstrate warmth, cultural competence and responsiveness to customer needs. Basic phlebotomy skills. High School Diploma or GED certification. Completion of approved training program as a Laboratory Assistant/Phlebotomist or a minimum of 3 years phlebotomy experience. Basic Cardiac Life Support certification.
Manual dexterity and legibility. Good communication and interpersonal relationship skills. Basic computer skills. Ability to prioritize and organize.
Department Administrative Assistant
Under general supervision, performs a variety of advanced and routine clerical tasks, obtains critical information from patients to document health educations services in medicals and provides related health information and follow up concerning patients.
Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED required. Minimum of three 3 years experience in healthcare services, health promotion, community health, or other related field required. Experience in general office responsibilities, procedures and MS Office software. Knowledge of basic health concepts, anatomy and physiology and terminology required. Excellent communication and presentation skills both in English and Spanish.
Must have own transportation, be a licensed driver and properly insured to drive in the state of > Texas . Must be available to work weekends and evening hours when necessary. Previous experience in a health care setting preferred. Current CPR Certification required.
Housekeeping
Performs basic cleaning tasks for the clinic in a manner that is effective and safe.
