Helping Families Today for a Healthier Tommorow.

Grant

Addressing the costs associated with the delivery of primary health and mental health care services of patients and their families is the sole purpose of the Grants Department at Centro San Vicente.  A full time grants manager and grants assistant produce grant applications for funding from national, state and local governments and private foundations that will help sustain the organization's mission and purpose of providing affordable and cost effective health care services.  The Grants Department is located within Centro San Vicente's Alameda clinic at 8061 Alameda Avenue.  Grant revenues secured by the department are well over $4 million per year and growing.

Local grant funding sources include the Community Development Block Grant of the City of El Paso, United Way of El Paso County, Stern Foundation, Frontera Women's Foundation, Our Father's Foundation, Wells Fargo, Susan G. Komen for the Cure, Rio Grande Cancer Foundation, El Paso Healthcare Systems, LTD., and the Paso Del Norte Health Foundation.  Stat and federal grant sources include the Department of State Health Services Center, March of Dimes, Health Resources Services Administration, the Department of Housing & Urban Development, Ascension Health and the Daughters of Charity.  Financial support is also procured by the grants department through the local employee campaigns coordinated by AT&T and the United Way of El Paso County and private anonymous donors.
