Centro San Vicente (CSV) family health center is a federally funded nonprofit community health center. CSV provides a comprehensive range of services that ensure quality, compassionate, accessible healthcare and peace of mind in an atmosphere of respect, dignity and cultural sensitivity. The health and well-being of patients and community alike are promoted through direct services, training, education, outreach and advocacy. We are completely committed to our patients’ physical, emotional, and spiritual well being and will not turn a patient away regardless of their ability to pay.

Over one hundred years ago, the Daughters of Charity of St. Vincent de Paul established El Paso’s first hospital, Hotel Dieu.  The Daughters founded the Southwest’s first school of nursing. In 1988, after closing Hotel Dieu, the Daughters opened Centro San Vicente to provide accessible and affordable medical care and social services. Since then, CSV has kept pace with the community’s growth by providing many quality of life services such as medical care, health education, social work, and counseling. The clinic added dental care as an additional service in 2004. On site x-ray, pharmacy and laboratory services are available.  Centro San Vicente is affiliated with Ascension Health, the nation's largest Catholic and largest nonprofit health system. Centro San Vicente is a Federally Qualified Health Center through the Health Resources and Services Administration.

Our Mission, Vision, and Values guide our actions.  Centro San Vicente provides holistic health services that care for the body, mind, and spirit, with an emphasis on improving access to care for the uninsured and underinsured population of El Paso.
